New beginning?

Hello again 🎉️

After being “offline” for more than a year, this domain has finally found its way back into active use.

Technically, it never went dark — it’s been quietly doing its job handling mail and serving a few internal things in my homelab — but this is the first time in a while it actually feels alive again.

So why did I stop last time?

Simple: the learning curve was steep, time was limited, and reality won. As a result, the homelab slowly drifted into a sort of maintenance-only limbo.

Fast forward to the last month, and things are changing. The lab is waking up, the overall health is improving, and — most importantly — the motivation is back. I’m once again poking at things just to see how they work… or break.

As I’m writing this, I’ve already crossed a small but satisfying milestone: my first self-made “tool” in Bash. Nothing fancy — just a script to customize my PS1 / bash prompt so it looks cool and sneaks in a few useful tricks. It’s simple, opinionated, and slightly over-engineered — exactly how it should be. I’ll write more about that later 😄

As the front page hints, this site is fully automated, and that alone deserves its own post. Setting it up has been a journey to say the least 👀️ — equal parts trial, error, and “oh, that’s how it works.”

But hey… here I am.

Glad to be back
